Will She-Hulk Appear in a Marvel Film? MCU Star Gives Straight Answer

Tatiana Maslany, the actress who played She-Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has addressed whether or not her character would appear in any subsequent films.

Last year, the hulked-out lawyer made her MCU debut in the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The nine-episode courtroom comedy was a unique departure for Marvel Studios, even if it didn’t please everyone.

While the show ended in October of last year, there has been no news on when it could return. In other words, fans are unsure when they will see Jennifer Walters again.

Tatiana Maslany of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law commented on the potential of appearing in the next MCU film as Jennifer Walters in a new interview with Gold Derby on YouTube.

When asked if she knew anything about being called in to do a Marvel Studios film one day, Maslany admitted that she “really [had] no idea:”

“I honestly have no idea, and I suspect the internet knows more than I do. But I’d really like to. I’m curious to see what… I’d love to put her—just like we’ve had so many other performers come to our show and tonally alter their character, place him or her in completely other settings, a different universe, which is what’s so great about Marvel Universe is that… there’s a Multiverse. I’m not sure whether you’re aware, but there is a Multiverse.”

She reaffirmed her desire to see Jen put in “a really unusual circumstance,” which almost any movie appearance would almost certainly achieve:

“But it’s like, sure, putting her in an odd circumstance. I think it would be a lot of fun because the thing I like about She-Hulk is that she’s so out of place, and she out of placeness has legs.”

Tatiana Maslany’s remark regarding the MCU Multiverse is a little perplexing, as she doesn’t appear to be directly referring to the concept explored in films like Spider-Man: No Way Home or Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Instead, she appears to be hinting towards having She-Hulk guest star characters that are usually a part of something quite different in tone. Daredevil, for example, transitioned from a dark and violent Netflix series to a lighter and more humorous Disney+ show.

It’s only a matter of time before Tatiana Maslany appears in a film.

Her character was previously reported to appear alongside her cousin, Bruce Banner, in Captain America: New World Order. While those allegations have yet to be proven, they would make sense considering all of the Hulk-related story components, such as Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader, General Ross’ impending Red Hulk transformation, and Betty Ross’ reappearance.

She’ll almost probably appear in either Avengers: The Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars.

The greater unknown is whether her debut series will be renewed for a second season.
