Letitia Wright has a positive response to fans who ask if Black Panther 3 would be released after the success of Wakanda Forever, but she cautions that it might take longer than we would want.
The last time we heard about Black Panther 3 was from Nate Moore, the producer of Wakanda Forever. He had previously mentioned how they had been “floating about” concepts for a third movie. The success of the second film will ultimately determine whether Marvel Studios makes a third Black Panther film for the MCU.
Given that Black Panther 2 earned $841.3 million at the global box office and scored a 94% Rotten Tomatoes rating, it is safe to infer that Wakanda Forever has been highly welcomed by both Disney and the general public.
Letitia Wright has expressed optimism for the sequel in the wake of Wakanda Forever‘s Disney+ release.

Will There Be Black Panther 3?
Letitia Wright, the star of Wakanda Forever, updated the public on whether Black Panther 3 will appear on the red carpet at the 2023 Golden Globes.
When asked if a sequel was in the works, the newly crowned superhero herself told Variety that she “[she] think[s] it’s already in the works,” but that the crew “need[s] a little bit of a break]” before beginning production on the next entry in the Black Panther series.
“I believe it is already in progress. You know the two years since it was released have been fantastic, with everyone simply joining together to support it. We require a brief respite. We must reorganize, and Ryan [Coogler] must enter the lab once more. It will take some time, but I can’t wait for you guys to witness that.
Wright’s response to the question of whether it is genuinely finalized was that she “believe[s] that excellent words manifest,” maybe implying that there may yet be another installment:
“I mean, I always try to think positively and speak positively, and I think that positive words have an impact. So why not? I’m manifesting “Black Panther 3.”
Ryan Coogler quietly commented that he would work on future Wakandan-themed movies “as long as folks will have [him]” when asked if he would return to helm the sequel to Black Panther.
When Can Wakanda Fans Expect More?
Marvel Studios has plans to expand the realm of Wakanda on Disney+ while we wait for official news on Black Panther 3.
Filming on the Dominique Thorne-starring Ironheart Disney+ series is complete, and a late 2023 launch is anticipated. After the events of Wakanda Forever, Riri Williams’ journey will be followed on this show.
Danai Gurira is speculated to star in a Disney+ series called Okoye, which many people now believe to be just another Midnight Angels episode.
Black Panther 3 will eventually be released; it might simply take some time. The project prior to Avengers: Secret Wars doesn’t appear to have much room on the expansive Marvel Studios schedule.
Maybe the eagerly anticipated third film will succeed in including some mutants? The storm might make her debut in Black Panther 3 before leaving to join the X-Men for good.
