Some new details about Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania may shed light on the possibility of the Fantastic Four appearing in the threequel.
One of the earliest theories about the Fantastic Four was that they would be introduced into the MCU through the Quantum Realm, where they would have remained until now. But what are the chances that Marvel’s first family will appear in Quantumania, a film that fully explores the aforementioned mysterious realm?
Many fans suspected that William Jackson Harper’s mystery character was Reed Richards himself. The protagonist is described as “the leader” of a rebel group “fighting against Kang.”
While the description does not exactly match Mr. Fantastic, fans remain hopeful that the theory is correct.
However, the Fantastic Four’s inclusion in the next MCU project isn’t looking promising.

Will the Fantastic Four Take Part in Quantumania?
According to Puck, many talent agents are attempting to secure a few key “big-get roles” for their clients.
Among them are the Fantastic Four, who will star in their own MCU film in 2025. Some fans, however, hoped to see the characters before that project, possibly as soon as February 17’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
However, while confirming that those roles are still being cast, the outlet revealed that the chances of the iconic group appearing in something as soon as Quantumania are nearly nil.
When Will Marvel’s First Family Make an Appearance in the MCU?
Most fans should not be surprised by this news. Following the failure to reveal casting information last year and the Fantastic Four’s shift into 2025, it became clear that such a cameo was most likely a pipe dream.
But can fans expect to see the team before their solo film? It is possible, but where and when remains unknown.
Hopefully, Marvel Studios will be kind enough to reveal who will play the iconic characters by the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con. For months, fan speculation has been at an all-time high, with everyone desperate for new information.
While some may be disappointed that the team will most likely not make any special appearances in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, hopefully they won’t have to wait much longer for some new information regarding the property’s launch in the MCU.
