While Sony Pictures is reportedly preparing to release a third standalone Venom movie, it has been updated.
After being licensed in April 2022, Venom 3 is steadily moving toward its theatrical release. Kelly Marcel, who wrote the previous two installments in the series, is directing the film.

Venom 3 release date
Venom 3, the third film in Tom Hardy’s symbiotic Sony trilogy, is scheduled to hit theaters in October 2024, according to Variety.
Juno Temple, a newcomer to the Venom franchise and a veteran of three seasons of Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso, said she is “excited” for the upcoming start of production “very, very soon.”
An inside story follows that filming will take place in the UK from June to September, though a start date is yet to be written.
What will Venom 3 bring to the Sony franchise?
Many are eager to see what Venom 3 has in store for this anti-hero, especially with Tom Hardy and Juno Temple teaming up with Chiwetel Ejiofor, who has her own Marvel experience after playing Baron Mordo in the MCU.
Fans last saw the pair in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where they returned to their planet thanks to the power of Doctor Strange, but a small part of the Venom symbiote was left behind.
