Venom 3 Presumably Wants Doctor Strange to Star in a Major Role

Chiwetel Ejiofor, the supporting actor in Doctor Strange, has been given a big role by Sony Pictures for the upcoming Venom 3 project.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage, released by Sony Pictures in 2021, was a surprise box office success. As a result, the company has agreed to create Venom 3, and casting is currently moving forward apace.

Eddie Brock’s next big adventure will feature some significant cast changes for the sequel, including the promotion of producer Kelly Marcel to director after she helped write and produce the first two films.

Additionally, Ted Lasso’s Jono Temple has been confirmed for an unnamed role opposite lead character Tom Hardy, and there have been rumors that a major character in the MCU has followed suit.

Venom 3: Will Doctor Strange Starr be involved?

More than proving her ability to play a convincing and intriguing villain, Chiwetel Ejiofor has also shown great effect in 2016’s Doctor Strange and 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

And after an exciting return as one of the MCU’s Illuminati in Doctor Strange 2, a role in Venom 3 could give the Oscar nominee another shot at taking on a wild role in Sony’s symbiote series.

Other stars from the first two films are also hoping to join the Venom sequel, which is slowly approaching the start of production, as Hardy hopes to add a new layer of depth to his fan-favorite hero.

And with shooting running from June to September of this year, we expect more information to reach beyond the cameras as they begin shooting with the actors on set.
