The Villain Plot in Captain America 4 Has Supposedly Been Uncovered

A recent rumor claims that a nefarious group with a well-known character would be introduced in Captain America 4.

Fans of the MCU already knew that Leader, played by Tim Blake Nelson, would play the movie’s villain.

Yet according to the most recent report, Anthony Mackie’s debut blockbuster movie features more antagonists than initially thought.

According to source Jeff Sneider, who appeared on The Hot Mic podcast with John Rocha, Val played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus isn’t just in Captain America 4; she’s also “working with five other villains to establish the group, the Serpent Society:”

I’ve heard she’s in the motion picture. Together with five other villains to form the Serpent Society in “New World Order,” and their primary goal is to get a unique metal that isn’t vibranium.

The Serpent Society is a group of evil characters from Marvel Comics, whose names are taken from snakes.

It’s important to note that Viper, Princess Python, and Diamondback have all appeared in the society’s comic book members as those “five other villains.”

A second source said that Diamondback, a female character, had ties to the Serpent Society, which is an interesting casting call rumor.

Others have hypothesized that this new MCU figure may be portrayed by Captain America 4 actress Xosha Roquemore.

Prior speculations claimed Captain America: New World Order uses “a new metal dubbed Adamantium,” the same substance covering Wolverine’s bones and claws, as the “special metal that is not Vibranium.”

Moreover, the Serpent Society is finally mentioned in this report, years after Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige originally hinted at the existence of the organization. He announced Chris Evans’ third film as Captain America: Serpent Society at the 2014 El Capitan Theater event where the Phase 3 slate was unveiled before disclosing the actual title of Captain America: Civil War.

A Growing List of Val’s MCU Credits

Jeff Sneider’s revelation supports what other scoopers have heard in recent months, even if Marvel Studios hasn’t officially confirmed Val’s new position inside the Serpent Society and the group’s pursuit of Adamantium.

Now that Captain America 4 production is started, more proof of this specific plot might not be far behind.

It’s important to remember, though, that Val has already been officially announced for the Thunderbolts, a squad that isn’t exactly spotless.

Is her status as the CIA Director, a Serpent Society member, and a Thunderbolts member one allegiance too many?

Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh, might be the final villain in the five-villain team.

She has been working with Val previously, so why not? If the Contessa can be a part of multiple organizations, why couldn’t Yelena?

The future of the MCU should be fascinating thanks to this new sinister organization, however only time will tell.

Also, their fascination with Adamantium is an obvious reference to Wolverine, who will once again be portrayed by Hugh Jackman in the 2024 film Deadpool 3.

As filming progresses, Marvel Studios should have more information about Captain America 4 in the upcoming months.
