The release date of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movie on Disney+ has been announced.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Homecoming will finally premiere on Disney+ after years of anticipation.

Ever since the MCU adaptation of Spider-Man was developed in collaboration with Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, there has been a lot of discussion about the Spider-Man movies currently available for streaming in the United States.

Due to the fact that some (if not all) of the previous Spider-Man movies have made it to Disney+ in a few select markets, Spider-Man fans in the US are getting their hands on what a webhead wants back home.

The Tom Holland headline has finally made its way to Disney+ in the US for the first time, according to a recent tweet from the official Disney+ account.

Spider-Man’s solo debut from Holland, Spider-Man: Homecoming, is coming to Disney+ on May 12, according to a tweet promoting several Spider-Man movies coming to the site.

It comes after the US streaming rights to the Marvel wall-crawler were infringed elsewhere, causing Far From Home and No Way Home to be missing from the service.

All of the Spider-Man movies starring Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland have been available in some form in various other territories, but up to this point, Disney+-compatible movies have not been available in the US.

The tweet also mentioned that Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, and The Amazing Spider-Man will be available on Disney+ in the US on Friday, April 21.

When will Disney complete a Spider-Man collection?

Disney has been gradually building its Marvel library on Disney+ over the years, notably bringing in Fox titles like the X-Men movies and even the Netflix series Defenders (which includes Charlie Cox’s Daredevil).

But many of the Spider-Man movies are still the black whale of it, at least in the United States.

Although they’re now closer than ever to have all eight Spider-Man movies in one place thanks to this image, it’s still a little disappointing that the collection isn’t complete.

It seems to be a priority for Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige and the company. Disney seems to be doing everything it can to get hold of the remaining wall-crawling epics, especially those with a direct connection to the MCU (Far From Home and No Way Home) as those licensing deals start to play out.

It could only be a matter of time until Disney+ users in the US get to see the entire Spider-Man story on the big screen, especially with a second Spider-Man movie directed by Tom Holland reportedly coming. in the works and a streaming animated series. It centers on a character going to Disney+.
