After a fantastic first season, there is a lot of anticipation for Loki Season 2, and new trailers for the Disney+ series have increased the buzz even more.
At this year’s D23 Expo, Marvel Studios exclusively unveiled the trailer for Loki Season 2, confirming the return of several first-season cast members and the introduction of several new ones. Although the precise plot is still a secret, early footage suggested that the Season 1 finale cliffhanger would be resolved.
Additionally, Loki actor Tom Hiddleston hinted that Season 2 would center on the struggle for the TVA’s very existence.
A sneak preview of the upcoming MCU show has finally been made available to the public ahead of its confirmed 2023 premiere.

Disney+ Releases the First Loki Season 2 Video
The first authentic footage from Loki Season 2 was made available on Disney+ in the brand-new sizzle reel for 2023 releases.
In the sneak peek for Loki Season 2, played by Tom Hiddleston, Mobius, portrayed by Owen Wilson, are seen working together as covert agents on an unidentified TVA (Time Variance Authority) mission.
Intriguingly, the brief clip also features two additional Loki Variants in addition to Loki and Mobius. It’s unclear whether Loki is using his abilities or if the TVA has added more Variants of the God of Mischief to their ranks.
The Loki Variant appears concerned in a fresh image of Sylvie. Was Kang able to capture her?
In this brief new clip from Season 2, Loki is falling (hopefully not for another 30 minutes):
How is Loki going to stop Kang?
The Time Variance Authority (TVA), which was first observed at the conclusion of Season 1, will cooperate with Tom Hiddleson’s titular God of Mischief, according to the first official footage of Loki Season 2.
Loki may have already attempted to explain to Mobius what He Who Remains told him in the finale, but it appears that he is taking a deliberate approach by first joining this new TVA before overthrowing it from within.
This enables Loki to fully understand how this TVA functions while still getting very close to (and hopefully succeeding in) regaining Mobius’ memories of the earlier timeline in order to gain a useful ally against Kang.
Also anticipated for Season 2 is a greater emphasis on the search for Sylvie. There’s a good chance that Loki will help the female Loki Variant escape, even though the official new clip hinted that she is eventually captured (again) by the TVA.
In any case, Season 2 promises to be a thrilling experience that moves the Multiverse Saga a lot closer to its climax.
