Parrot Analytics defines “on demand” as a combination of interest, popularity, and engagement. It is assessed using resources such as “search engines and wikis…fan and critic rating sites,…blogs and micro-blogging sites, social networking platforms,…broadcasting platforms,” among others.
In essence, the data compares the enthusiasm, anticipation, popularity, and share of each superhero movie to the average over a given period of time.

10. Shazam! Fury of the Gods
Shazam, a box office flop, currently ranks 10th in US demand this year. Demand for Wrath of the Gods was 29.27 times above average. Despite a modest box office take, the film seems to have been highly anticipated and well-received.

The Zachary Levi-starring sequel focused on the relationships within the aptly titled Shazam Family while portraying a moving tale of collaboration and selflessness. 2019’s Shazam did well at the box office, and it seems like enough fans have expressed their love for the series enough that the sequel’s disappointing performance cracked the top 10 in the US.
