James Gunn’s third Guardians of the Galaxy movie just released a new trailer that featured a fresh look at Sylvester Stallone’s returning character.
In Vol. 2, Stallone portrayed Stakar Ogord, one of Yondu’s original colleagues.
The celebrity announced his comeback in November 2021 by posting a photo of himself undergoing a 3D facial scan. Soon after, he posted a picture of himself in full costume, which has since been removed.

Return of Sylvester Stallone to the MCU
A new minute-long teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was published by Marvel and Disney.
In the brief new clip, Sylvester Stallone’s Stakar Ogord, who originally appeared in Vol. 2, is seen for the first time by viewers.
Not all of the new footage is of Sylvester’s hero; there is also a brief glance.
We can see something breaching the surface of what appears to be the High Evolutionary’s ship.

What Part Will Stakar Ogord Play in the Third Guardians Film?
It’s difficult to predict what Sylvester Stallone’s character may be doing this time.
The MCU’s portrayal of the character bears little resemblance to the more ethereal and high-concept depiction of the original hero, despite the fact that one might go to the comics for inspiration.
Stakar’s colleagues, Charlie-27 played by Ving Rhames, Aleta Ogord by Michelle Yeoh, Martinex by Michael Rosenbaum, Mainframe by Miley Cryus, and Krugarr, are likely to return as well if Stakar does. In light of the High Evolutionary’s apparent difficulty, the Guardians of the Galaxy would benefit from some support.
By the time the film’s conclusion arrives, perhaps some of Yondu’s original group of friends will have been reincorporated into a new edition of the titular group.
