One of Guardians 3‘s biggest stars has hinted at possible cameo appearances from other MCU franchises as the movie gears up to hit theaters.
The third installment in the band’s cosmic adventures of misfits, dubbed Guardians 3 by early critics as Marvel’s biggest production since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, seems to be a fitting sendoff for the group.
Will Poulter makes his acting debut as Adam Warlock in this film, and the original team of Guardians – who were last seen in the mid-credits sequence of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – return in triumph.
Though many are speculating as to whether additional well-known Marvel characters may appear with the cosmic misfits given that Guardians 3 marks the final appearance of this particular squad.

MCU Cameos by Guardians 3 Stars
Dave Bautista, who plays Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, hinted in the film’s recent press release that the MCU might make a few appearances.
Bautista has explicitly stated that there will be “a lot of cameos” for the third and final Guardians of the Galaxy movie, looking forward to the moments when he sees fans cheer:
There will be many registrations. When you see certain people who came back for the last movie, it’s going to brighten those moments.
While teasing the “new emotional heights” and “new depths in these characters” that the actors were able to delve into in the story, executive producer Simon Hart also spoke of the pride the entire team feels in bringing this trilogy to a close:
“We are delighted with the results. Everyone is very pleased with the work they have produced in the last 10 years and the adventures their characters have had. You will see new emotional climaxes in “Vol. 3”, new depths of characters revealed by the actors, and new levels of the plot never before seen in a film of this caliber. James truly transcends the level of pale.
Who could make a cameo in Marvel Studios Guardians 3?
For the past ten years, the Guardians of the Galaxy series has become famous for its cameos. Josh Brolin’s Thanos and Seth Green’s Howard the Duck appeared in the first film, while Adam Warlock and the Watchers made their first appearances in the sequel.
What Dave Bautista specifically means when he says that expecting some significant cameos in the MCU is now the big deal.
Chris Hemsworth’s Thor probably wouldn’t be an option, as director James Gunn has stated that he has no intention of including the God of Thunder in this defiant version.
Eros/Starfox from The Eternals, played by Harry Styles, was not scheduled to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and thus fans don’t know when they can expect to see him again in the next Marvel Cinematic Universe production. Gunn confirmed it.
On the other hand, Gunn hinted at the possibility of a Guardians 3 movie a year ago, noting that the team’s major Phase 5 farewell movie would have some key moments.
The only question that remains is who would actually make these inscriptions.
