Spider-Man Across Spider-Verse 2: A First Look from Marvel on the PS4

With the arrival of Spider-Man Across Spider-Verse, the PlayStation universe’s Spider-Man has successfully crossed over to the big screen.

In 2018, the first Spider-Man video game in the PlayStation universe was released. It received positive reviews from both critics and players, and many consider it to be the best Spider-Man story ever told on the PS4.

The character returned in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the game’s follow-up, but she was not present for the majority of the narrative.

The release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, in which he will team up with Miles, in which the two must contend with Kraven the Hunter and Venom, is currently unknown.

The new trailer for Spider-Man Across Spider-Verse revealed that while this version of Spider-Man has become immensely popular in the gaming industry, he will be exploring a different universe.

A brand-new trailer for Spider-Man Across Spider-Verse has been made public by Sony. Characters from the first Spider-Verse movie, such as Miles Morales played by Shameik Moore, and Spider-Gwen played by Hailee Steinfeld, were featured in the footage, but it also introduced some brand-new ones.

Spider-Man from the PlayStation video games, who can be found in Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, is one of those new characters.

He can be seen conversing with another Spider-Man while wearing his suit, perhaps offering some tips on web-slinging.

The Spider-Man suit that Peter wears in both games can be seen in the background of a shot in 2018’s Into the Spider-Verse, making this the first time that the actual character has appeared elsewhere besides video games.

In addition to having a white symbol across his chest that extends all the way to the sides of the suit, this version of the character is also distinguished by having white on his forearms and the backs of his hands.

New Possibilities for Spider-Men on PlayStation

Any and every Spider-Man alter ego has a chance to appear in a movie like Spider-Man Across Spider-Verse. Since the sequel’s announcement, there have been rumors that even Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker or Tom Holland’s take on the character for the Marvel Cinematic Universe might appear.

The new trailer for Insomniac’s PlayStation Spider-Man doesn’t feature any ground-breaking moments, so it’s unclear whether he will merely make a cute cameo or engage with Moore’s Miles at some point.

Even though he only appears in one scene of the film, this still creates the possibility of future crossovers and/or the characters from the world of video games appearing in other media.
