Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy has commented on the latest set photo leaks.
When Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine costume was initially shown to the public in July, fans’ imaginations were utterly destroyed. It looked like a dress straight out of books and was a dream come true.
In the following days, even more previews of the film appeared online. Featuring a notable fight between Wolverine and Deadpool, the scene takes place in the void created by Loki and largely breaks the 20th Century Fox logo.
Unfortunately, the SAG-AFTRA strike halted production after a few days and moviegoers never saw another image of Deadpool 3.
Shawn Levy’s Response to the Set Leaks
Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy spoke about the recent leaks from the film’s shooting in a new interview with Deadline.
Levy was careful to thank the Internet for demonstrating the “great efforts” the production team went to “not to film on sound stages with digital environments”:
“We were cautious to avoid filming in a digital environment with sound levels. With (leaked) photos from our shoot, the Internet has proven it. Internet, you are the best! We were looking for something real and grounded.

When Will Deadpool 3 Fans Get More?
When will fans be able to see more previews of Deadpool 3?
Unfortunately, fans won’t be able to see trailers for Ryan Reynolds’ next project until one or both of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes expire. Along with Thunderbolts, Blade, Wonder Man, Daredevil: Born Again, and other shows, the project will drag on until then.
A second season of Tom Hiddleston’s streaming series could generate anticipation for a future trilogy, although there is currently nothing in serious production based on the relationship between the film and the ideas raised in Loki.
Unfortunately, Deadpool 3’s original release date of May 3, 2024, was delayed due to recent strikes.
The film does not yet have a new release date, but if the strikes end soon, the production could still hit theaters before the end of 2024.
