The first-ever collaboration between Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau will be revealed in The Marvels, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige likened that scene to a pivotal one from The Avengers from 2012.
Although there were suspicions that a new trailer will debut before this year’s Super Bowl, marketing for Captain Marvel 2 has not yet begun. The three main stars of the MCU sequel continue to raise expectations.
The story’s specifics are yet unknown, but the universes unusual three will need to cooperate in order to be saved, according to the film’s first official synopsis.

Crossover of the Marvel Superheroes
Marvel’s main cast will appear on screen together, according to Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly (EW).
When EW originally questioned Feige about the relationship between Carol, Kamala, and Monica, the Marvel Studios head acknowledged that it will be the sequel’s primary subject while also hinting at the presence of “fun cosmic elements”:
“The whole story revolves around that. It has interesting cosmic components. The Kree-Skrull battle contains recognizable aspects for followers of Marvel comics. And the tale picks up right where Captain Marvel 1 left off, not in terms of timeline. In our upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, we also do it, and those are two very distinct sequels to that film. They could hardly be more dissimilar in terms of tone.”
Feige continued, saying that it is “chill-inducing” to watch Monica, Kamala, and Carol in one frame together, comparing it to the first Avengers film where the six original heroes came together:
“But, there’s something incredibly moving about capturing Monica, Kamala, and Carol all at once in a frame. It simply reminds me of the first Avengers movie and seeing all six of them in one frame, in my opinion. It gives you the chills. They all have unique relationships with one another and work so well together.”
The Marvel Studios executive concluded by claiming that Ms. Marvel couldn’t believe “she’s alongside these other heroes:” Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and Iman Vellani’s Kamala.
“The wonderful thing about Kamala is that she is similar to Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker from Civil War in both her television show and this film. She finds it hard to believe she is among these other heroes and that she is in these situations. And that’s enjoyable since we aspire to be that. I aspire to that.”
Why Carol Danvers Is Introduced as a Team Player in Captain Marvel 2
According to Kevin Feige’s most recent remarks, the interaction between Captain Marvel 2‘s three main actors would be emphasized, much as how the Avengers films emphasized the highs and lows of the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
This is significant, especially for Carol Danvers played by Brie Larson. Although she assisted the Avengers in their fight against Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, Carol is frequently portrayed in the MCU as a loner.
Due to the presence of Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan, The Marvels is anticipated to alter that.
Feige’s comparison to The Avengers is also not surprising, mostly since he had the opportunity to quietly hint at Carol’s development as a team player, which parallels Tony Stark’s maturation in that film.
Overall, the primary trio’s Avengers-level crossover in Captain Marvel 2 may be filled with drama, humor, and exciting action sequences that finally show off their abilities.
On July 28, The Marvels will make its theatrical debut.
