Marvel Studios Announces Assembled Special: Disney+ Release Date For Ant-Man 3

It was announced that Ant-Man 3’s making-of documentary, produced by Marvel Studios: Assembled, will soon be available.

The Peyton Reed trilogy finale didn’t exactly set the world on fire. Billed as an Avengers-level film, the Paul Rudd-directed trilogy received mixed reviews and did poorly at the box office.

However, Quantum Mania fans have praised the game’s antagonist, Kong the Conqueror (who is played by troublemaker actor Jonathan Majors), in particular. And after more views of Quantummania, as it becomes available on Disney+, general opinion will change.

The assembled episode of The Marvel Studios: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will debut on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 14, Disney Plus Informer reports.

That means the behind-the-scenes documentary will drop on Wednesday, May 17, nearly a month after the movie debuted on the streaming service.

Compared to previous MCU movies, this release schedule is different. The assembled episodes of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder debuted on the same day that Disney+ got the movies.

The fact that the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘s Assembled episode didn’t air until a week after its regular debut on Disney+ could indicate a shift in Marvel’s approach to the timing of Assembled episodes for MCU movies.

Watching Quantummania, it becomes clear that the Quantum Realm, which takes up most of the film’s runtime, was designed and built with careful consideration.

There are plenty of new characters and monsters in the kingdom, ranging from fun and endearing to terrifying. There was even a man who looked like broccoli.

While some have criticized Ant-Man 3 for its heavy reliance on CGI, it’s hard to deny that many intriguing and aesthetically captivating concepts have been brought to life. Most of these companies are built on digital effects.

This episode of Marvel Studios: Assembled should provide some insight into the visual design process used to create the film. Many will no doubt discover what it takes to bring some of these weird and imaginative ideas to the big screen, as the quantum realm proved to be vast and varied in Quantummania.

Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania grossed a combined $475 million, making it clear that it wasn’t the most successful or beloved MCU movie. However, like 2021’s Eternals, it may have a brief second life when it premieres on Disney+ on May 17.
