Cassie Lang’s on-screen counterpart Kathyrn Newton recently shared a brand-new nuance about the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
While Kang and his plans for Phase 5 of the MCU have received most of the attention in the lead-up to Ant-Man 3, the subatomic realm that he and the Ant-Man ensemble are trapped in is just as enigmatic.
While some of the world’s characteristics have already been hinted at in the movie’s marketing, fans now know more courtesy to Kathyrn Newton, a rookie to the MCU.

Actress from Ant-Man 3 Discusses “Goo” from the Quantum Realm
The Quantum Realm has a new secret, according to Kathryn Newton, who told Fandango that “when you get there, you have to swallow some goo:”
“Well, you have to drink some goo when you get here. Once that happens, you can interact with others.
The threequel star revealed a few further details regarding this quantum beverage: It’s okay… She then turned to Paul Rudd and stated, “I got the red goo, you got the green goo. It’s like red goo,”
Rudd was painfully silent and tight-lipped before responding, “I don’t know,” rather than revealing which colored goo his character ate.
However, Kathyrn Newton went on to elaborate on this aspect of the world-building, saying, “You know, they have a drink. They have goo, we have 7-Eleven.”
When questioned about if it tastes bad, she admitted:
“I thought it tasted fantastic. After that, everyone will understand you and vice versa.
The Sticky Situation in the Quantum Realm
Audiences are well aware of how strange and occasionally cartoonish the Quantum Realm appears thanks to the Ant-Man 3 teasers and trailers.
It also seems strange that the MCU family will be able to communicate with individuals living in the Quantum Realm by consuming various colors of goo.
However, this is fresh information that might be crucial, particularly given that the Ant-Man 3 cast will be corresponding with Kang, MODOK, and Bill Murray’s Lord Krylar frequently.
If true, this may be the reason Paul Rudd seemed afraid to speak up since he didn’t want to contribute to revealing this information.
It remains to be determined if Quantum Goo contains substantial spoilers or not. However, it implies that Quantumania will, for the time being, live up to its name.
