Marvel fans are excited about the prospect of Tom Cruise playing a different version of Iron Man in the MCU. This incredible video explains why.
In the year 2021, the film world was buzzing with rumors about Spider-Man: No Way Home. Almost all of the rumors involved the character’s appearance or the comeback of a long-time Marvel figure.
You might think that the arrival and release of that movie would put those rumors to rest, but like the ever-increasing monster of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, those rumors continue to mount, fueling excitement for the current and future MCU.
It was followed by Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which came out earlier this year. To say that there are more rumors than this would be an understatement. And one of those rumors suggested that Tom Cruise would wear a standard suit of armor as Superior Iron Man.
That didn’t happen in the end, but many fans just couldn’t get enough of the Top Gun: Maverick star playing an alternate version of Tony Stark.
Now, Strider HD, a YouTube user, has given us an idea of what it might seem like.
Is Tom Cruise Playing a Different Version of Iron Man in the MCU?
Tom Cruise is rumored to appear as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as reports of a Doctor Strange reshoot are circulating online, with some fans wondering if this will lead to more appearances in the film. In the end, it turned out: rumors.
Though he didn’t appear in Variety’s film, fans were wondering if we could see him in the upcoming MCU film. Nothing has been confirmed or suggested by Marvel, but given that many different characters will continue to be included in phases four, five, and six, it is possible that we may see other versions of many of the MCU’s classic heroes. Could one of them be Cruz’s Iron Man?
If it does, it would be a nod to the fact that Cruise was one of the very first to take on the role of Iron Man in 2008, before Robert Downey Jr. was cast.
