There are now free online episodes of Marvel Legends featuring characters from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Marvel Studios has released new episodes of Legends for Disney+ with every MCU production since WandaVision debuted on Disney+.
However, Marvel bucked the trend by making the Legends of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania episodes of three sequels available on YouTube.
Now that the new six episodes of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are no longer just available on the streaming service, it looks like Disney and Marvel are following suit.

Guardians 3 Marvel Legends to Watch Free Episodes
Disney has created a new episode of Marvel Studios: Legends for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is available on YouTube ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
Even though these six mythology recaps have been available on Disney+ since April, Disney is now uploading them to YouTube in the days leading up to the film’s worldwide release, which appears to be a practice Ant-Man 3 started.
A guardian, such as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Gamora, Nebula, Rocket, Kraglin, or Groot, appears in every episode of Legends.
In preparation for the trilogy, Peter’s episode revisits both the story of his character’s loss and the narrative of his upbringing.
Since Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 differs from Gamora from Vol. 3, the new Gamora episode is probably the most important one for people who need a refresher.
Another important inclusion is the Rocket episode because Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will focus on his terrible past.
Casual viewers could definitely consider the Groot’s Legends episode essential viewing, just like Gamora. Baby Groot from Vol. 2 in 2017 has been further developed after appearing in Thor: Love and Thunder in 2022.
Looking back on her path, it is revealed that Nebula may have made the biggest and most significant arc of all the Guardians thus far.
Last but not least, Kraglin may be one of the team’s new recruits, but his synopsis reveals that Ravager has continued to appear in the series since 2014.
Which episodes of Guardians of the Galaxy: Legends are not free?
The Guardians of the Galaxy trio have yet to receive new Legends rings.
Given its little history so far, Cosmo is understandable, but neither has won new mythology chapters for the upcoming film from Pom Klementieff nor Dave Bautista’s Drax.
It’s important to note that their feeds aren’t available on YouTube and require a Disney+ subscription to view, even if that’s likely because they received two episodes last year of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
At issue is whether Disney and Marvel Studios will follow suit with the MCU Disney+ now showing Ant-Man 3 and Vol. 3 created this YouTube precedent, as well as whether these character flashbacks help introduce people to Marvel entertainment.
