According to new reports, another villain in Captain America: New World Order 2024 could be revealed.
Though little is known about the May 2024 film, fans have already begun to anticipate a confirmed primary antagonist: the Leader. This antagonist was last seen in The Incredible Hulk and will be played by Tim Blake Nelson once more.
However, it appears that Nelson’s Leader will not be the only major foe Sam Wilson will face.

A New Potential Enemy for Captain America: New World Order
Insider Daniel Richtman claims that a female villain named Diamondback will appear in the 2024 film opposite Tim Blake Nelson’s Leader in Captain America: New World Order.
According to Richtman, the casting call requests a “female, early to mid-30s,” of any race, to play “against Anthony [Mackie],” who is described as “a villain but also perhaps a love interest.” Additionally, the caller is informed that the character may make additional appearances following the 2024 film.

The Serpent Society would include Diamondback, according to further speculations spread by CanWeGetToast on Twitter.
The Serpent Society is a possible idea that was originally planned to feature in Captain America: Civil War. It is an organization of comic book villains with a theme centered upon, as the name implies, serpents and snakes. Viper, Princess Python, and, particularly in this case, Diamondback, have all been notable members.
Diamondback may be played by Xosha Roquemore, who was recently mentioned as being in the Captain America: New World Order cast in an unspecified (as of publication) role.
Who exactly is Diamondback?
If the name Diamondback is recognizable, it may be because a Diamondback appeared in the Netflix series Luke Cage. That Diamondback, played by Willis Stryker, is not the same character as the one Captain America: New World Order is currently casting.
This Diamondback is probably Rachel Leighton, a morally dubious Serpent Society member from the comics. Rachel has been a part of BAD Girls, Inc., the Secret Avengers, and Camp HAMMER, switching sides and allegiances in each, going back and forth between a good person and a bad guy.
She formerly had an affair with Steve Rogers in the comics, and more recently, she made an appearance in a narrative starring Sam Wilson, the current Captain America.
She appears in the New World Order narrative, which introduces the Serpent Society as a whole and suggests a prospective love interest for Sam.
Regardless, the 2024 movie appears to have more than one villain since the Leader has been formally announced and Diamondback has been widely rumored.
