The impending fifth crossover event is one of Marvel Studios’ most anticipated projects for the coming year.
Sure, the overall excitement was dampened a bit by Kang Dynasty writer Jeff Loveness penning a critically panned Ant-Man movie. But it’s still a great team-up movie, and there will always be some sort of buzz surrounding such events.
Fans now know when the cameras are about to roll.

The Kang dynasty is on the way.
A recent story from Variety has revealed when fans can anticipate Avengers: The Kang Dynasty to begin filming.
The massive event film is scheduled to begin production in the spring of next year, according to the site.
The Kang Dynasty is scheduled for release on May 2, 2025.
For comparison, Avengers: Age of Ultron began production in February 2014 and was released 15 months later in May 2015.
Production on Avengers: Infinity War began in January 2017 and was completed fifteen months later in April 2018.
Given these cases, it doesn’t seem likely that the fifth Avengers movie will be released on time.
When can we expect the Kang dynasty?
The inevitable postponement of the Kang dynasty is a common topic of discussion among followers. Perhaps that’s for the best given all the turmoil going on at Marvel Studios behind the scenes.
The studio is currently embroiled in a major scandal involving Jonathan Majors, the actor who plays Kang the Conqueror.
At the end of March, the actor was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend. More recently, more women have come out with new abuse allegations against Majors.
Fans may want to start preparing for even more significant changes at Marvel Studios.
Given the current situation, it seems inevitable that Kang Dynasty won’t be released until 2025. With Secret Wars, it will likely be pushed back in time by another year.
