Marvel Studios has declared that the release of Secret Invasion is scheduled for this Spring. But when will it actually debut?
The first “crossover event” is the brand-new Marvel Disney+ series. After being absent from the MCU for four years, it will bring fans up to speed on Nick Fury. Along with Samuel L. Jackson, veteran actors Don Cheadle, Colbie Smulders, Martin Freeman, and Ben Mendelsohn are joined by MCU newcomers Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.
This program has a sizable cast for Marvel Studios’ first streaming project of Phase 5, bringing one of the most significant comic events in recent memory to the small screen. When will Secret Invasion be available on Disney+ given the number of new MCU projects released on both the big and small screens this year?

When will Disney+ stream Secret Invasion?
What does the current Disney+ release date of Spring 2023 for Secret Invasion signify in terms of its real release date?
Although “Spring” legally lasts until the middle of June, many people believe that Summer officially begins in June and that Spring ends in May.
Up until at least September 2022, Secret Invasion underwent a significant number of reshoots that apparently lasted for a whopping four months. It would be logical to presume that the show has undergone a significant redesign and will take a long time to complete given the significant quantity of additional photography compared to the reshoots for a regular MCU movie or show.
Given this information, it is likely that Secret Invasion will be released toward the end of the Spring 2023 window to allow for post-production requirements following the lengthier production period.
Loki Season 2 is intended for a “Summer” release, The Mandalorian Season 3 will conclude on April 19, and Ahsoka will debut towards the end of the summer. Given how Disney+ staggers its releases, especially between tentpoles like MCU and Star Wars titles, Secret Invasion would only be able to run for a finite amount of time if all of these series adhered to these release periods.
As with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ms. Marvel in the past, Disney+ will probably want to hold off on releasing Din Djarin’s exploits until after the first MCU program of the year.
With all of this in mind, May 10 would be a likely date for the launch of Secret Invasion. This gives Mando 3’s final episode and Secret Invasion’s premiere three weeks of breathing room, and – presuming its six episodes are spaced out over six weeks – would still allow plenty of weeks of summer for Loki and Ahsoka.
Insider CanWeGetSomeToast on Twitter also said that the series would be released in May, which could be another clue as to when the program will premiere.
Marvel’s New Era on Disney+
Even if the precise date is off, this would still be the newest beginning for the roster of Marvel films on Disney+. The year 2021 began on January 15 with WandaVision, and the year 2022 began on March 30 with the release of Moon Knight.
Although a 2023 release date for both Agatha: Coven of Chaos and Echo is still planned, there have been speculations of delays in recent months. The only certain releases this year are Secret Invasion, Loki Season 2, and Ironheart. addressing the infamous “Marvel weariness” that has been a contentious issue among fans and business leaders.
There have previously been several instances of “pseudo-sequels” in The Multiverse Saga. It felt like a sequel to both Black Widow and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness resolved plots from WandaVision and the Thunderbolts lineup.
With Monica Rambeau, Ms. Marvel with Kamala Khan, and presumably Secret Invasion given the importance of the Skrulls and Nick Fury in Captain Marvel, The Marvels is taking shape to be a super-sequel to WandaVision.
Secret Invasion is scheduled to premiere on May 10; the series will undoubtedly air in the spring of 2023.
