The schedule for the second season of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has just been released, and he returns to the MCU looking pretty determined.
In early October, Loki will return for a six-episode second season. The MCU streaming series will see the return of the title character and supporting characters such as Mobius M. Mobius and Sylvie, whose first season became the most-watched Marvel show on Disney+.
However, Odin’s son must put his newfound bravery to the test when he confronts the menacing Victor Timely, played by troubled actor Jonathan Majors.
When will Loki season 2 episodes be released?
The official release dates for the second season episodes of Loki on Disney+ have been announced. Originally scheduled for release on Fridays, these episodes were moved to a different day when the Lucasfilm television series Ahsoka adopted a new release schedule.
New episodes of Loki season 2 are now available on the streamer on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., following Ahsoka’s lead. PST/9:00 p.m. Eastern time. Below are the air dates for each episode:
- Episode 1 – October 5
- Episode 2 – October 12
- Episode 3 – October 19
- Episode 4 – October 26
- Episode 5 – November 2
- Episode 6 – November 9
Notably, Loki’s season finale comes one day before the premiere of Marvel Studios’ next feature film, The Marvels. Additionally, Loki’s season debut airs 48 hours after Ahsoka’s eight-episode series ends.

Apparently, Loki did not follow the release schedule that Marvel Studios originally established for the series. But what’s more, the final episode of season 2 will only pass one day between its return to the big screen launch of The Marvels.
In fact, given Thursday’s trailers for the film, there will be some overlap between the two projects. That’s good news for MCU fans, as they’ll be getting a double dose of MCU that weekend.
This kind of thing doesn’t happen often with Disney+ shows, but a Season 1 episode of The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian was released on the same day in 2019.
Season 2 of Marvel Studios’ Loki premieres on Thursday, October 5.
