Prior to making her MCU debut in Secret Invasion, Emilia Clarke praised the Marvel Studios production process as “mind-boggling.”
With the upcoming release of Secret Invasion on Disney+ and the addition of Game of Thrones’ Clarke and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, the Multiverse Saga will continue to introduce fresh faces to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Clarke is accustomed to being at the forefront of pop culture thanks to her work on George R.R. Martin’s Westeros, but she has already acknowledged how “absolutely fantastic” the Marvel Studios apparatus is.
Clarke’s part in the spy thriller Secret Invasion is still unknown, at least officially, just months before she makes her MCU debut in it; nonetheless, she is obviously pretty pleased about it. Secret Invasion is anticipated to arrive on Disney+ this Spring.

As she gets ready to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe in this spring’s Secret Invasion, actress Emilia Clarke spoke with Collider at the Sundance Film Festival about the “mind-boggling” process behind a Marvel Studios production.
The MCU project-making process has been compared by Clarke to “[unlocking] the Rubik’s cube,” which she finds extremely challenging:
It’s astonishing. I have to admit that the processes used to produce those shows and movies are astounding. It seems as though everyone at Marvel is able to solve a Rubik’s cube, while you are unable of doing so. I can’t solve a Rubik’s Cube for the life of me. I hope many more won’t be able to. It seems as though they are using a secret technique that always works. It simply works! I have made an effort to comprehend it and have asked, “Okay, rationally, how is this, how do you guys, what’s the…?” Over there, they are consuming some water. What it is, I have no idea. It’s wonderful. […]”
The former Game of Thrones actress continued, “They just totally nail it,” and she described her experience with Marvel Studios as “just kind of brilliant”:
They are spot on. They just hit the mark perfectly. I’m not the only actor to express that it’s been great working with them. Really, it is. We laughed a lot together. They simply seem so relaxed, and I don’t think I’m as relaxed as they are. If I were them, I think I would be incredibly agitated all the time.
In Secret Invasion, who does Emilia Clarke portray?
It’s almost time for Emilia Clarke to make her MCU debut, but there’s still no word on whether this will be a one-off appearance or if she’ll be sticking around for the long haul. However, the actress has said that she would be willing to play her enigmatic character for ten years in the MCU.
She will allegedly be “a spy with powers,” according to one rumor, which has provided some hints about her persona. This led many people to Abigail Brand, a SWORD agent with pyrokinesis abilities, who Marvel Studios had even just hashtagged a GIF of before changing that designation.
She will reportedly portray G’iah, a Marvel Comics Skurll, in Secret Invasion, according to some rumors. Although these accounts appear to clash if G’iah were to pretend to be Abigail Brand this time, both of these statements might actually be true.
