WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen wants to play a new MCU character.
Marvel Studios introduced several new characters during Phase 4, including Shang-Chi, Kate Bishop, Ms.
Following the death of the Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Elizabeth Olsen recently admitted that she “doesn’t have a contract” with Marvel Studios, but the MCU has no problem bringing back dead characters if they serve a good purpose. aim. end. date.

Ms. Marvel is Elizabeth Olsen’s favorite.
Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch in WandaVision, recently told BuzzFeed that she wants to see Scarlet Witch team up with the next “Ms. Marvel” in the MCU.
Olsen was influenced by Ms. Marvel star Iman Villani, who called “new girl” Villani “very, very cute” as well as “likable and funny”:
“Which Marvel character would you like to see Wanda interact with in the future?” asks BuzzFeed.
“I think the new girl I created is really fun,” says Olsen. Ms. Marvel. Yeah, I think she’s really cute and sweet and funny, so I tell her.”
This sweet and cute feature doesn’t seem to be Elizabeth Olsen’s favorite, as she gave a completely different answer when she was asked about her favorite WandaVision moments of hers.
Referring to the eighth episode of the streaming series, where Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness tries to force Wanda to give up her power, Olsen admitted that “being in Agatha’s little dungeon” and “being tortured by (Agatha) was her favorite part. “. Based on that episode:
“I think [my favorite scene from WandaVision episode 8] was when we were in Agatha’s little dungeon,” Olsen explains. “Kathryn [Hahn] had to make some stuff up there, and it was such a beautiful setting, so I think hanging her by a wire and torturing her was my favorite part of that episode.”
Will Olsen’s character interact with the new MCU?
Although her response to Agatha’s Cell suggests that Olsen wants to stay on the darker side of Marvel, she may be looking to turn things around dramatically while still working with a lighter-hearted heroine like Ms. Marvel.
During her tenure as Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness, Elizabeth Olsen shared many scenes with another new hero in the MCU. America Chavez, played by Xochitel Gomez, made her first appearance in this film and appeared with Olsen several times in the Doctor Strange sequel.
Until recently, Olsen was one of the youngest stars on the show. Now that she’s more of an MCU veteran, it seems likely that Wanda Maximoff wants to emerge in a way where she can act as a mentor to the new heroes, similar to what the Avengers did as Hawkeye did for her.
Of course, the question of how Wanda will return to the MCU needs to be resolved before a new team-up with Ms. Marvel can be considered, but given the current instability in the MCU, nothing seems out of the question.
