Disney+ has unveiled a newly remastered teaser for the trilogy to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the first Iron Man film and the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau, first hit theaters 15 years ago. Since Iron Man was Marvel Studios’ first release in 2008, Downey’s Tony Stark was the face that established the franchise.
Of course, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still very nice, even if Tony’s tenure (for now) ends in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Iron Man has been commemorated on Disney+
Disney+ shared a preview of the newly released trilogy on Twitter. It has been in production to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Iron Man since May 2, 2008, first in theaters.
In the opening scene of Iron Man 3, Tony arrogantly declares, “I’m the best,” after donning his new Mark XLII suit.

The MCU’s Tony Stark Legacy Lives On
In Avengers: Endgame, Iron Man met a surprising fate when he took all six of Thanos’ Infinity Stones and ripped off his fingers to permanently end the threat of the Mad Titan. Tony died because the crushing power of the stones was too much for his body.
But inside and outside of the Marvel Universe, Iron Man’s legacy lives on. In their upcoming roles in the MCU’s Armor Wars and Ironheart on Disney+, Don Cheadle’s War Machine and Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams will continue to bring armored action to the MCU.
Also, Stark’s former protégé Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, will try to follow his mentor’s lead in his next appearance (even if no one remembers it).
Fans have without fail gone to see every MCU movie starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man in the real world, and his absence is still sorely felt by those who have grown to appreciate Tony’s brave and resourceful adventures. There’s a chance he could return at some point because Downey has said he misses playing the part.
Aside from all that, the fifteen-year existence of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is absolutely incredible. For some viewers, the MCU has been a part of his life for his entire life. And plenty of movies, TV shows, and specials are coming up, so don’t delay things.
