One of Marvel Studios’ most anticipated Disney+ projects is Daredevil: Born Again.
The Netflix original series Daredevil is getting a spin-off, remake, or sequel in 2024. That date is tentative because the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike is still going on.
Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin have already made their feature film debuts as stars of the fan-favorite Netflix series. In some cases, the main characters are replaced by new characters and performers, while others have to repeat their roles in others.
One of the most popular and influential Marvel IPs is about to join the MCU, and the cast is already strong.
Daredevil: Born Again Full Cast
1. Charlie Cox – Daredevil
Charlie Cox, the golden boy in red spandex, has been subtly elevated to the status of non-MCU Marvel artists like Jackman, Reynolds, and Simmons. Cox was the only candidate to play the Man Without Fear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to the success of the Netflix original series Daredevil.
He previously had a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home and had a mini-arc in the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, so Marvel Studios couldn’t bring him on board fast enough.

2. Vincent D’Onofrio – Kingpin
Charlie Cox is Daredevil’s peanut butter and the antithesis of one of the greatest antagonists of the red mark of recent times. Hawkeye made a brief and divisive return to Vincent D’Onorofrio as Kingpin. No doubt the narrative of him will continue in the upcoming Echo series, which will launch simultaneously on Disney+ later this year.
In addition to his work on the Netflix series, D’Onofrio is a well-known actor who has had prominent roles in films such as Men in Black, Full Metal Jacket, and Jurassic World.
3. Jon Bernthal – Punisher
Three is the key number, as Spider-Man: No Way Home taught us, and Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle is the crucial third member of this reckless trio. After the decision was made to bring Charlie Cox back, there were no other options for Fisk and Punisher, as they both had a lasting influence on their roles on Netflix.
With his portrayal of Frank Castle, Berndhall is one of the fastest-rising stars in comic book movies. He gained fame for his roles in The Walking Dead, The Bear, Baby Driver, Fury, and many more.
4. Sandrine Holt – Vanessa Fisk
Sandrine Holt replaces Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk and is the first remake on this list. This kind of reinvention is how Marvel Studios and Disney+ will set themselves apart from the competition, as three familiar characters from this part of the Marvel Universe carry over from the Netflix series.
With roles on popular shows like Better Call Saul and House of Cards, Sandrine Holt is an expert in the field.
5. Clark Johnson – Cherry
Cherry will play the character of Clark Johnson in the upcoming 18-episode series. While the character may not be prominent in the Marvel Universe, this performance is notable for other reasons. Johnson will make history as the first person to direct a non-cameo role (two episodes) in a Marvel Studios Disney+ series.
However, well-known MCU veteran Jon Favreau, who served as director and godfather on Iron Man and Iron Man 2, isn’t the first MCU filmmaker to take on the role.
6. Arty Froushan – Harry
Artie Fruscian is a new face set to play an uncredited role in Daredevil: Born Again.
Froushan is an English actor best known for his role as Ser Qarl Correy on HBO’s Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon. This type of new talent will be needed to maintain audiences for the four-month run of the show.
7. Michael Gandolfini
Michael Gandolfini, son of the legendary television actor, will make his MCU debut.
Gandolfini’s involvement is said to be “enormous” in the preface to The Many Saints of Newark. He is best known for playing a younger version of his late father Tony Soprano’s famous character in the film. Is Tony Soprano’s son playing a possible antagonist in a TV show about the devil from Hell’s Kitchen? A great fit.
8. Margarita Levieva
In Daredevil: Reborn, Margarita Leviva is expected to play some kind of love interest.
Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock has had several major love interests during his run, including Karen Page, Elektra, and Jennifer Walters in 2022’s She-Hulk, whom many consider being Marvel’s worst and worst live-action character.
9. Nikki M. James
Another newcomer in an uncredited role is Nikki M. Jaime.
James is best known for his previous work on the television shows The Good Fight, Proved Innocent, and Severance on Apple TV. She also received a 2011 Tony Award for “Best Actress in a Musical” for her role in The Book of Mormon on Broadway.
10. Michael Gaston
Among the list of talented young actors, Michael Gaston is an experienced actor. Both The Man in the High Castle and Bridge of Spies featured Gaston in espionage-related and political roles. In this situation, perhaps in the courtroom, expect the elder to play a similar role.
11. Harris Yulin
According to a recent Reddit post, Harris Yulin has joined the cast of Daredevil: Born Again. The post includes stills from the series of Yulin frolicking in the park like a sage.
Yulin has a long list of iconic roles as a judge on Clear and Present Danger, Scarface, Training Day, and Ghostbusters II.

Due to the WGA strike, the expected spring 2024 Disney+ release of Daredevil: Born Again may now be postponed.
