Although it is currently unclear how Agatha: Coven of Chaos will fit into the MCU’s mythical future, previous rumors and cast member reports give some indications.
The next Disney+ series will include Kathryn Hahn’s return to Marvel as Agatha Harkness, numerous fresh faces, and the rumored return of a significant MCU character. Coven of Chaos is ready to reveal a hitherto undiscovered area of the MCU, despite the fact that its plot specifics are shrouded in mystery.

Actors and Actresses in Agatha: Coven of Chaos
1. Kathryn Hahn (Agatha Harkness)
Kathryn Hahn is slated to make an impressive comeback as the star of her own Disney+ series in Agatha: Coven of Chaos after a spectacular performance in WandaVision. The conclusion of WandaVision reveals that Wanda Maximoff had imprisoned Agatha in Westview. The titular witch, however, might have unintentionally been set free since the Scarlet Witch was away in the Multiverse of Madness pursuing Doctor Strange.
Although Hahn has been coy regarding the specifics of the plot, she did hint that the show’s current trajectory is “just what (she) would have hoped and envisioned.”
2. Joe Locke
Many people assumed that Joe Locke was Billy Kaplan (a Wiccan from Marvel Comics) when he was cast in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, especially after Variety reported that he is portraying “a gay teen with a dark sense of humour” in addition to his similar physical characteristics to young Billy actor Julian Hilliard.
Although it is unknown how Locke’s Billy would fit into the show’s storyline, his rebirth following his release from the hex at the conclusion of WandaVision may be a sign that the Scarlet Witch will soon make another appearance.
3. Aubrey Plaza
According to rumours, Aubrey Plaza will play one of the show’s villains in Coven of Chaos, where she will officially make her MCU debut. Plaza hinted that she has “a tremendously crucial role” in the Disney+ series while confirming her Marvel role.
The possibilities are infinite for Plaza, from a witch from New Salem to Morgan Le Fay, another Marvel witch.
4. Emma Caulfield Ford (Dottie)
Given that Coven of Chaos is a WandaVision spin-off, it is not surprise that Agatha will appear alongside some other characters from the earlier Disney+ series.
In the future spin-off, Dottie will return, as Emma Caulfield Ford already confirmed, although her exact role in the narrative is still unknown. Even so, the actress hinted at the development of her character by saying that “she might definitely level up her personal life a little bit” and that she “know[s] nothing:”
“I’ll be in for a really big surprise when I find out what I’m doing and how I’m doing. I lack knowledge. It’s an amazing surprise. I’m eager to watch… She could certainly level up a bit in her personal life, in my opinion. I’m unsure of who I am. Maybe I’m amazing.”
5. Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch, Rumored)
Elizabeth Olsen’s destiny as the Scarlet Witch was left unresolved in Doctor Strange’s Multiverse of Madness, allowing her to reprise her role in upcoming MCU productions like Coven of Chaos.
Wanda may eventually come out in the series as a result of Agatha’s escape and Billy Maximoff’s return (although in a new teenage body). The Scarlet Witch’s return runs the risk of overshadowing Hahn’s Agatha, but having the character appear in a post-credit sequence or just one episode (presumably the finale) might still be effective in building anticipation for the show.
6. Evan Peters
Everyone was taken aback when Evan Peters, who played Quicksilver on Fox, returned to the Marvel universe in WandaVision. When it was revealed that the X-Men actor was actually portraying a regular man called Ralph Bohner, some fans were dissatisfied.
Daniel Richtman, an entertainment insider, revealed that Peters would “probably” return in Coven of Chaos despite this. An opportunity exists for the actor to finally explain his significance to Agatha’s overall plan of events, with the possibility of his return in the spin-off series.
7. Patti LuPone
Patti LuPone is slated to play “a witch” in Coven of Chaos, according to Deadline’s sources, which suggests that she might be one of the much-speculated witches from New Salem. The three-time Tony winner’s history in musical theatre, however, might be a hint that the spin-off will include a sequel to the Emmy-winning “Agatha All Along.”
8. Eric André
It’s difficult to predict Eric André’s position in Coven of Chaos because so little is known about Agatha’s history. André, however, may wind up playing a male role who might possibly be used by Agatha as a scapegoat or her victim when attempting to dodge the evil witches given that he will only make an appearance in one episode.
9. Sasheer Zamata
The identity of Sasheer Zamata from Saturday Night Live’s Coven of Chaos is unknown, although rumors suggest that she may also be portraying one of the New Salem witches. Zamata might play a significant ally from Agatha’s past if he doesn’t wind up playing one of the titular witch’s enemies.
10. Maria Dizzia
Ali Ahn and Maria Dizzia’s casting in the WandaVision spin-off was widely published, strongly suggesting that the two characters’ roles are interwoven. The two actresses portraying New Salem’s witches now seem more likely than ever.
11. Ali Ahn
Deadline was the first to report Ali Ahn’s involvement in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, although as would be expected, her part is still a secret. One persistent notion holds that the actress might portray one of the New Salem witches who might be out for Agatha’s blood.
