Monica Rambeau, played by Teyonah Parris, will make her big-screen debut in The Marvels after a game-changing stint in WandaVision that granted her superpowers. Monica has some issues with her aunt Carol, according to the Elizabeth Olsen-led Disney+ show, and Parris confirms that the pair will “finally” deal with it in the sequel.

The MCU is best known for delivering impressive star-studded sequels while keeping its main hero in the spotlight. Captain America: Civil War and, more recently, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever did an excellent job of introducing new characters and highlighting returning faces while keeping the story’s focus on its main heroes.
