Who actually dialed 911 in relation to the arrest of Marvel star Jonathan Majors has come to light.
Majors was detained on suspicion of assault on Saturday, March 25 in a Chelsea, New York apartment. Moviegoers will recognize Majors as Kang the Conqueror from the recently released Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
Majors is “totally innocent and is provably the victim,” according to the actor’s attorney, yet the accusations against the celebrity remain.
More Details About Jonathan Majors’ Arrest
A recent report claims that Jonathan Majors called 911 before being detained for alleged assault because he was worried about his girlfriend.
According to officials with the New York Police, the actor dialed 911 because he was worried about his fiancée.
Arriving at the apartment with Majors‘ girlfriend, police allegedly heard a different account, in which they were informed that the actor had assaulted her in a cab as the two were returning from a Brooklyn club.
Officially, Major was involved in a domestic disagreement with a 30-year-old woman, according to New York City Police, who stated in a statement that “the victim notified authorities she was assaulted.”
Upon arrival, authorities noted evident marks on her body and then placed the actor under arrest. According to early accounts, the actor was charged with harassment, assault, and strangulation.
This material is being released at the same time that a significant U.S. Army advertisement featuring Majors has been canceled because of the claims.
The actor has been accused of acting in “vicious, harsh, and abusive” ways in the past, and word of his detention is spreading that accusation once more.
