An upcoming Avengers 6: Secret Wars’ Hidden Villain may have been revealed by a recent Marvel comic.
Fans have been raving about Jonathan Majors‘ Kang the Conqueror ever since Loki, and technically ever before. To fill the void left by Josh Brolin’s Thanos as the next significant threat to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the big bad, who was introduced in Tom Hiddleston’s most recent outing, is expected to emerge.
Majors is aware of the expectations of the audience and has stated that his “assignment is different” from Brolin’s antagonist; it goes without saying that the actor is confident in his ability to leave his mark on the MCU alongside the now-iconic Mad Titan.
On February 17, 2023, the antagonist will then make an appearance in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and possibly Secret Wars, he will at the very least play the antagonist.
But now, as a result of a recently revealed comic event, Marvel might have hinted at the possibility of a future hidden antagonist for the MCU.
Marvel’s Latest Event Highlights a Significant Avengers 6: Secret Wars’ Hidden Villain
Avengers Beyond, which may be hinted at in Avengers 6: Secret Wars’ Hidden Villain, was officially announced by Marvel.
The Avengers will face the one and only Beyonder, at which point they will “finally realize the shocking truth behind their latest, action-packed adventures.”
Yes, the exact same Beyonder who was behind the initial Secret Wars incidents.
The antagonist will “[return] with a vengeance,” according to Marvel, who also hinted that he will be “[hatching] his latest twisted scheme for the Marvel Universe.”
Earth’s Mightiest Heroes “have realized something or someone has been influencing them for the past several months,” it was further revealed.
Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have come to the conclusion that something—or someone—has been influencing them over the past few months, changing the very nature of reality in an effort to get the world ready for a threat that could wipe out everything. This unknown person is about to be dragged, kicking and screaming, out of the darkness and into the light before being identified as the Beyonder! The Marvel Universe is about to get significantly bigger.
The next major Avengers saga will be told in the series by authors Derek Landy and Greg Land.
In a statement, Landy teased that fans would encounter a “story of gods” and expressed his “beyond excited” to be supporting the endeavor:
I am beyond thrilled to carry everything we did in ALL-OUT AVENGERS into its following incarnation, said Landy. “For a kid who grew up with SECRET WARS, the chance to tell this kind of story—the story of gods, the one thing that scares them, and the Avengers caught in the middle—is an impossible dream come true. We’re just beginning to brush up against the wider implications of the Beyonder’s agenda.”

Who Is the Beyonder?
A member of the Near Omnipotent race known as the Beyonders, which lives outside of the Multiverse, is the Beyonder. When he first began, this species’ individual was alone and had no idea who the other members of his race were.
Molecule Man, Owen Reece, and other complicated comic characters caused a hole to be poked through Beyonder’s reality, exposing him to the Marvel Universe. The character began to observe Earth as a result of a series of events.
The majority of the original Secret Wars event’s concept dates back nearly four decades ago. Naturally, his next step was to create a reality in which he would deceive the powerful heroes of Earth-616 into a location called Battleworld, where he would pit heroes and villains against one another.
The Beyonder receives a physical body for Secret Wars II to use while observing Earth. Interestingly, he had initially decided to mimic Steve Rogers’ appearance. The chaotic character’s struggle to blend in on Earth receives a lot of attention in the sequel.
The same Beyonder was the subject of the 2015 event, but his entire race was the main attraction. Additionally, they had a bigger role to play in setting the stage for the main event.
In the end, Doctor Doom is the one who takes all of the race’s power and uses it to try to prevent the extinction of all life. Funny enough, it wasn’t the first time Doom had done so; in the first Secret Wars in 1984, he had briefly taken them from The Beyonder.
Is Beyonder Making a Move Toward the MCU?
It’s doubtful that Marvel would choose to reintroduce The Beyonder to the spotlight given the recent Avengers 6: Secret Wars movie announcement. Will he soon make his MCU debut?
Considering how big of a character The Beyonder is, getting him on the big screen would be significant. Another query is whether it would occur before or during the Secret Wars.
It is currently believed that Kang the Conqueror will serve as the primary antagonist in both the fifth and sixth Avengers movies, just as Thanos did in Infinity War and Endgame. Could the sixth film, however, feature a character like The Beyonder?
Many people had been hoping that Doctor Doom would show up, but what if The Beyonder instead gets the chance? possibly even laying the groundwork for more outrageous cosmic ideas, occurrences, and characters after the Multiverse Saga.
