One insider claims that one plot device from Avengers: Secret Wars might be quite similar to one from Avengers: Endgame.
Even though Avengers 6 won’t come out for another three years, talk about the last installment of the Multiverse Saga in the MCU is rife.
The movie, which shares the same name as Marvel’s landmark Multiverse comic event, is shaping up to be a Multiverse epic for the ages as several iconic Marvel characters are anticipated to team up with the MCU’s main characters.
Endgame, the final Avengers movie, was always going to be “impossible to beat,” but the Marvel Studios team is convinced it will be “a tremendous bang” for the franchise.
And it turns out that the writing for Secret Wars may have drawn some inspiration from Endgame.

A Space and Time Heist
According to well-known YouTuber Heavy Spoilers, the multiverse-spanning epic Avengers: Secret Wars is poised to take one plot device from Avengers: Endgame.
According to what he’s heard, Avengers 6’s time travel plot will essentially be the same as that of Endgame, except that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes would have to travel to “important realms across the entire Marvel universe” rather than the MCU.
“According to what I’ve heard regarding #AvengersSecretWars, they essentially want to remake Endgame without using time travel and instead using the multiverse. They will visit important universes within the larger Marvel universe rather than traveling to significant MCU locations as they did with AE.”
This report confirms some recent rumors about the conclusion of the MCU Multiverse Saga.
No official confirmation has been made regarding either Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield from Sony’s original Spider-Men or Fox’s X-Men, but both have reportedly been considered for the Multiversal sequel. Marvel Studios is reportedly actively attempting “to get as many heavy hitters as they can” for Avengers 6 at this time, according to rumor.
It has been reported that Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, wants a Portals sequence for the movie that is similar to the one from Endgame but includes legacy Marvel characters as well.
The ultimate Marvel film will be Avengers: Secret Wars.
If fans thought Endgame couldn’t get any bigger, wait until they see what Marvel Studios has in store for them with Secret Wars.
This is the Marvel Multiverse story to end all Marvel Multiverse stories, as was the case with the comic event of the same name. This is going to be a spectacle unlike anything audiences have ever witnessed.
This means that studio boundaries will almost certainly be crossed, characters thought to be dead and gone will reappear, and fans will almost certainly weep profusely. Not to say that Avengers 6 will be the final MCU film, but if recent reports are correct, it very well could be.
Work on the super-powered epic is still in its early stages. A writer, Michael Waldron of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has been announced, but not much else has been said in an official capacity.
For the time being, all fans can rely on are reports and rumors like this. However, it appears that the Multiverse Saga send-off will be a success!
