Jonathan Majors continues to appear in the marketing campaign for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania despite his involvement with the franchise being in doubt due to assault allegations.
After being arrested and charged with assault in late March, Majors made negative headlines. This takes place as the actor’s MCU character, Kang the Conqueror, is gearing up to be the franchise’s next big villain, with several appearances slated for the next ten years.
Marvel Studios has not publicly addressed Major’s legal issues, but is said to be “discussing potential options moving forward.”
The Quantumania actor was promptly written off by the US military for its latest round of TV commercials as soon as word broke that he was incarcerated.

Amid Assault Charge, Jonathan Majors Has Appeared In The MCU
Jonathan Majors, who plays Kang, appeared in a newly released trailer promoting the digital release of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania despite recently being arrested and investigated for assault.
The short ad includes several images of Major’s multifaceted adversary and the phrase “the beginning of a new dynamic” in reference to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, where Majors is supposed to play a major role.
The decision to cast the actor surprised some people because the investigation into the recent assault allegations is still ongoing.
According to Majors‘ attorney, the MCU actor has “denied any allegations.” However, due to the ongoing legal dispute, he has recently been banned from various brand collaborations.

Will Marvel Use Jonathan Majors in Any Way?
With Jonathan Majors mired in these legal troubles, Marvel Studios is in a worrying place.
The Hollywood giant made a huge investment in the actor, who was just getting started.
Despite reports that there have been no talks of recasting the Kang actor in the MCU, it seems unrealistic for Marvel to at least explore the contingencies just in case.
Insider Jeff Snider recently revealed that he had heard that Marvel Studios had at least the type of actor in mind if they were going to drop Majors.
With everything up in the air, the studio doesn’t need to make public statements about the future of Jonathan Majors; However, it might be wise, from a general point of view, to remove the actor from marketing projects at least until a judgment is handed down.
