A Fox X-Men hero was one of the two new returning characters in Deadpool 3.
Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine and franchise staples Dopinder and Blind Al have already been confirmed to return, and the cast of Deadpool 3 is still expanding even before filming begins.
This occurs as Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, finally enters the Marvel Cinematic Universe to interact with individuals there, including two Loki actors who reportedly will appear in the Shawn Levy-directed threequel.
Among the returning figures are two newbies, Matthew Macfadyen of Succession and Emma Corrin of The Crown, who will play unspecified parts.

Deadpool 3 Reunites Major Characters
Two actors from the original two Deadpool films will return for Deadpool 3 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to an exclusive report from Deadline.
Morena Baccarin makes a comeback as Wade Wilson’s engaged Vanessa, while Stefan Kapicic will reprise his role as Colossus, a significant X-Men hero.
Following Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Kapicic’s Colossus is the second Fox X-Men figure to be announced for the threequel.
Just a few weeks ago, Baccarin addressed the possibility of her returning as Deadpool, saying that although there had been discussions about the idea, it “may or may not work out,” but it is now obvious that an agreement with Marvel Studios has been reached.
Deadpool 2 was centered on Vanessa being killed by a criminal, yet the Merc with a Mouth later utilized Cable’s time machine to fly back in time and save her.

Getting Preparing for the Production of Deadpool 3
According to Ryan Reynolds‘ most recent update, filming for Deadpool 3 should start right before the summer. Collider recently published a report saying that Deadpool 3 will start filming in London this spring. The cameras should start shooting around June 21, when the spring season comes to an end.
Further narrative specifics and casting decisions, including both well-known actors and fresh names from Marvel, should become clearer in the weeks and months before the film’s release.
Even though Deadpool is now crossing the line into the MCU, it is clear that this will still be a sequel set in that universe given the announcement that his non-superhero buddies and a number of X-Men heroes will be returning. Perhaps Deadpool 3 will even act as a capstone to the Fox universe before the eagerly anticipated X-Men revival.
One can only speculate about which additional Fox X-Men and Deadpool characters might be up for a comeback when there are so many returning players on the field.
With so many of her Deadpool 2 co-stars already confirmed for the threequel, Domino actress Zazie Beetz’s involvement seems more possible than ever, time permitting. She previously hinted at a potential return.
