Captain America 4 Order has cast its newest star, who will play a major role in the MCU sequel.
Sam Wilson’s first MCU solo film is set to begin filming in just two months, at the end of March. Anthony Mackie will lead a cast that includes both familiar faces and MCU newcomers in the big-screen sequel to Disney+’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Among the most notable additions to Captain America 4’s cast is Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross, who replaces William Hurt, who died last year. The cast of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will also be present, though there is currently no word on Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes.
Shira Haas has joined the cast as Israeli superhero Sabra, marking the only new character addition thus far. However, as filming continues, another MCU newcomer has been cast in a key role in New World Order.

Major Cast Member Joins Captain America 4
According to Deadline, newcomer actress Xosha Roquemore has been cast in a major role in Captain America: New World Order. Roquemore’s role is being kept under wraps as Captain America 4 remains shrouded in mystery ahead of its late March start date.
The rising star joins Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, Carl Lumbly’s Isaiah Bradley, Shira Haas’ Sabra, Tim Blake Nelson’s Leader, Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross, and Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres in the film.
In Captain America 4, who will Xosha Roquemore play?
For the time being, determining who Xosha Roquemore will play in Captain America: New World Order will be difficult. After all, fans currently know very little about this film and its plot.
Because the title New World Order suggests a global plot, and Shira Haas’ Israeli hero is already in play, Roquemore may end up playing another international hero.
A Marvel Studios producer confirmed Sam Wilson will “bring his own team to play” in this film, so more heroic additions beyond the existing cast are possible.
However, she could be playing a non-superhero character in this unspecified role, such as a relative or Sam Wilson’s new love interest – who has yet to have much romantic luck in the MCU so far. However, because this is Wilson’s first solo film after a long run as a supporting actor, this may finally be his chance to find more depth to his role outside of being one of the MCU’s leading heroes.
