As marketing for the MCU threequel picks up, a slew of fresh Guardians of the Galaxy 3 posters was made available.
Guardians 3 will mark the “end of the chapter… [for] the Guardians of the Galaxy family,” it became even more obvious after James Gunn left Marvel at the end of last year to become co-CEO of DC Studios.
That sense of closure has been aided by the cosmic blockbuster’s marketing. The film’s first two trailers have this somber feel to them, with the Guardians repeatedly saying things like “one last trip.”
The Guardians promotional tour appears prepped and prepared to get going in earnest, and it appears like another GOTG3 teaser is on the horizon.

Unveiling of New Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Posters
Seven new posters for the next MCU have been revealed by Marvel Studios as interest in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 soars.
IMAX, ScreenX, RealD 3D, 4DX, Dolby, and one promoting the ticket-buying website Fandango are among the formats fans can watch the movie in, and this series of posters was released to promote them.
The squad is depicted in the team with brilliant saturated colors encircling the Guardians crew in the IMAX poster, which is the flashiest of the four.
The first of two ScreenX posters features Bradley Cooper’s Rocket Raccoon, whose backstory is expected to be the subject of the Superpower threequel, at least in part.
The second ScreenX marketing piece features the group posing with a wider-than-usual frame around them, parodying the newly unveiled Guardians of the Galaxy 3 posters.
The RealD 3D poster for the MCU epic, which will be released in 3D, has Rocketed in front of a whiteboard covered in complex mathematics.
The following advertisement is for the 4DX experience that viewers may look forward to starting in early May.
The Guardians then make an epic walk toward the camera in the Fandango poster, with Rocket serving as the main focus while only the legs of the other characters are visible.
Dolby also made a Rocket-centered poster, which had a reflection of the Guardians in his pupil.
The Farewell Tour for The Guardians 3
This feels like the ‘one final tour’ moment for the super-powered rock and roll band known as the Guardians of the Galaxy with all the marketing (including posters like this).
Although the MCU team seems to move on after Vol. 3, it is unlikely that they will be joined by the same group of intergalactic misfits that fans have grown to know and love over the past almost ten years.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and company appear to be laying down the red carpet for James Gunn’s victory lap around the MCU track, despite the fact that these odd format posters are nothing new for Marvel Studios.
The studio recently unveiled a series of character posters, giving each and every one of them a chance to shine in front of the camera at regional theatres all over the world.
In addition, with just a few weeks until the movie’s release, it seems like this is simply the beginning of what is swiftly evolving into the Guardians 3 farewell tour.
